In search of a family-sized holiday apartment in the heart of Athens? You've found it at Acropolis View Beta Penthouse.

Inside, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms provide ample living space for families or groups of adventurous friends, sleeping up to 8 people. And while the modern interiors are impressive, it’s the wraparound balcony and landscaped roof terrace that set this sleek Athens pad apart! It's 5-star comfort, without the 5-star price tag.

Beta Penthouse comes with a city-view balcony, perfect for starting the day with an alfresco coffee. In the evening, head up to the roof terrace, shared only with our AlphaPlus Penthouse next door, and enjoy the shimmer of moonlight on rooftops with glass of wine in hand; or enjoy a special meal under the stars, thanks to the handy gas BBQ grill and plentiful outdoor seating.

For larger groups, Beta and AlphaPlus can be rented together as a spacious duplex, giving you exclusive access to the landscaped rooftop terrace. Wine tasting and catered breakfasts can also be arranged. Ask us for details!

We have 3 bedrooms that sleep 8, with 2 more guests accommodated on the sofa bed. Two bedrooms have Queen and twin-sized beds, making them ideal for families with small kids. The third room, an internal room with air-conditioning and double bed, is a cozy option for the teen who wants privacy.

The two full baths come with all you need to refresh after a day's sightseeing. Each comes furnished with organic Greek bath products and fluffy robes. One bathroom has a hydro-massage walk-in shower, while the second features an American-style combo of jetted tub and hydro-massage shower.

You’re right in the center of it all at Beta Penthouse. Gaze over your morning coffee as Athenian life unfolds around you. Just outside, in the 4 “platieas,” or local squares, you'll find kids at play and neighbors catching up before heading to the nearby farmers’ markets.

The tree-lined street is full of cafes and restaurants – take your pick and discover some of the best Greek food in the city. The area is favored by locals in the know and travelers after a slice of the real Athens.

And when it’s time to see the sights, you’re within walking distance of the historic center and the best museums in the city, like the Benaki, the Cycladic, and the National Art Gallery. Easy-to-navigate public transportation makes it a breeze to visit Syntagma Square and the National Gardens too. You’re also a stone’s throw from the jogging paths and pine-scented playground of the Little Forest of Pagrati.

While the neighborhood offers authentic Athens at your doorstep, Greek Vacation Rentals provides their guests with true American-style comfort once you step inside. You’ll love the charging station for US electronics (no more fumbling with adaptors!) and the fully stocked kitchen, perfect for big, boisterous family dinners. All the necessary appliances are here – think large full-sized washer and dryer – to ensure an easy vacation for everyone.

The imported Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, heavenly high thread-count linens, and sumptuous bath products make Beta Penthouse feel like home (only better).

We believe our Acropolis View Beta Penthouse is the perfect place to live like a local - make it your chic home-away-from-home in downtown Athens.

Great Apartment With a Wonderful Owner & Host!

Date of Stay:

I spent three nights with my wife and two teenage children at Acropolis View Apts (I believe we were in Beta). Everything about the apartment was first class and made for a very easy and relaxing holiday. Bedrooms were all very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, location was great with plenty of shops and restaurants right outside the door, and Carole was a great host. Booking was very simple, as was arrival, and Carole had plenty of useful tips. We also booked a stay on Tinos through Carole (covered in another review), so combined we had a great city and island vacation. There is always a little concern when booking an apartment or villa on-line as you do not always know what you will be getting, but in this case everything was exactly as described. The apartment offered plenty of space for the 4 of us, and we made good use of the rooftop for evening drinks. Our normal schedule was to walk or taxi (taxis readily available right outside and very reasonable price) to the main sights in the morning, return late afternoon for happy hour or a siesta, and head back out again for dinner. The walk was around 30 minutes, so short enough to walk, while the taxi ride was 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Overall a very convenient location. We booked transport from the airport and to the port with Carole, which made the transfer quite easy and comfortable. Also took a couple of Carole's dining tips which were great and a little off the normal tourist route. Also had a great welcome basket which was very appreciated after a long flight. Overall had a great stay and hope to return

Perfect Vacation Apartment in Athens

Date of Stay:

We were traveling as an extended family group. Grandparents, adult children, and one 6 year old grandson. The apartment was beautiful and conveniently located. We have rented apartments all over the world, and this one was the best equipped. It had everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable, the view of the Acropolis from the roof deck was gorgeous, and the local bakeries and grocery stores and restaurants were great. Carole was amazingly helpful in setting up activities and helping us plan our visit. Her driver, Nick, made getting around with 2 seventy-year olds and a 6 year old possible and easy. If you are going to Athens, I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough!

Date of Stay:

The rental property in Athens Greece was awesome. Perfect location close to all. Air conditioned and washer. views and balconies.

Lovely, Clean, Modern Apartment

Date of Stay:

Carol was great from our planning stage to our final drive to the cruise ship. . She sent me various information that was priceless! She arranged for our airport pickup, breakfast, and tour guides. Our tour guide for the Acropolis and various other sites was Maria. She was young, energetic, and very knowledgeable. I am very picky about my tour guides and she was a 5 star. We also had Nico, he was a tour guide as well as a driver. I cannot say enough good things about these two people. I would ask for them!! The Apartment was perfect for 3 women. It was in a safe neighborhood that had everything you need, from groceries, clothes, restaurants, pharmacy, and coffee shops. Our only complaint was not enough toilet paper and the stand up shower needed some kind of shelf. (both minor inconveniences) The air conditioners worked great, which was needed. The balcony and roof terrace were amazing. Bring earplugs, because you are in a city, and if you are in the front bedroom, there is noise. A price to pay for location. I would highly recommend this property for all the reasons you rent an apartment. Location, utilitzation of area, conveniences in the apartment and outside of it.

Great Apartment, Great Experience.

Date of Stay:

This is a wonderful apartment. It is in great condition and is very well kept. Nadia the resident manager is very nice and helpful. She took us on a Foddie tour and it was great but because we have to eat gluten free we were unable to partake in some of the cuisine :( The rooftop patio that we shared was amazing and we would eat out there at night and see the sunset beside the Acropolis. You can conceivably walk to everything but it is a decent walk to get there. If you have mobility issues you will need to take a taxi. The neighbourhood the apartment is in provides a great Athenian experience as it is far enough away from the crowds. The only negative is the one bedroom can be a little loud at night and in the morning with honking horns as it closer to the main road. Other than that you cannot go wrong with this apartment. Carole and Nadia are both very professional and take very good care of you from start to finish. I highly recommend this property for people looking to live among the locals for a while, enjoy walking and sightseeing and love watching a gorgeous sunset on a rooftop patio.

Wonderful Apartment, Wonderful Owner and Staff

Date of Stay:

We stayed in the Acropolis Beta in early May of 2015. The apartment is really terrific - everything looks very new and high-end and is extremely clean. There is a full kitchen with pots and pans, plates, cuttlery, etc, a jacuzzi tub, a delightful outdoor terrace with very comfortable furniture, and truly fantastic mattresses - very firm but still soft! Also there is so much room - three spacious bedrooms with extra fold-out beds in two of them and a lovely living room. The apartment is well stocked with everything you might need down to fresh towels, bath products, and a complimentary bottle of ouzo! Carole, the owner, goes out of her way to make you feel welcome - we had a yummy basket of goodies in the apartment on our arrival, and her suggestions for places to eat and how to get around were spot-on. Finally, the apartment is in a really great location, walking distance to the Acropolis (my kids are 11, 9, and 6 and they managed the walk with ease) and near restaurants and shops and anything else you might want. We can't wait to go back. Thanks to Carole and her whole team for making our Athens experience so enjoyable.

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Athens!

Date of Stay:

We stayed in this apartment during our trip to Athens, and it was fantastic. The apartment is really very nice, updated, clean and comfortable. It has several verandas, I lost count as I toured the apartment when we arrived. There is a lovely rooftop deck as well, but we enjoyed the large veranda that was private to the apartment. We sat out there, relaxed and enjoyed the weather for hours there. The beds were very comfortable, my family said the beds were the most comfortable one they had stayed in the entire trip (we cruised and visited another country before we visited Athens and this apartment). I personally was happy that there was a tub / shower combo in one of the bathrooms. Really I can't think of one negative about this apartment. Carole has thought of everything you might need to be comfortable. Location was also key. This apartment is near many good restaurants, a supermarket, bakeries, and near good public transportation. Very central place to stay in Athens. Carole was very easy to work with, she answered all my emails quickly and thoroughly. Made the planning of this part of my trip simple. And last but not least, Carole offers a driver to do airport transports and day trips of all sorts. Two words. Do it. The transports made getting in and out very easy, and the day trips were FANTASTIC. We went to the Temple of Poseidon at sunset. Nothing better, it was our last night of our trip, and probably the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen.

Athens and the Acropolis View Beta were fantastic

Date of Stay:

After a long absence from greece, i didn’t know what i to expect, especially with the economic crisis putting a squeeze on the greek people. As a mother of two young children, i worried in particular about staying in athens. Would it be safe? To my surprise and delight, athens was as i remembered and even better. The people were warm, helpful, and hospitable. The six of us, (4 adults and two children) stayed 3 nights in the acropolis view beta penthouse. The penthouse was clean, spacious, and modern. Carole has thoughtfully equipped it with all the comforts of home (wifi, air-conditioning, fully stocked kitchen, even a flat iron!). The beds were so comfortable too. It has also several verandas in the unit, but the most amazing one is the roof top veranda that wraps around with spectacular views of the acropolis and lykavittos hill. We sat up there every night with a bottle of wine, enjoying the illuminated views of athens at night. Awe-inspiring! The location of the beta penthouse was within walking to all the major sites in athens, which is a huge plus in my book. Athens is a wonderful place for walking, taking in the local ambience. Be sure to visit the new acropolis museum! I loved dealing with carole, the owner, who i found to be helpful, professional, and very kind. In her literature, carole suggested we visit the farmer’s market “laiki” on tuesday. What a treat and a sight for our eyes. The vegetables and fruits were aromatic, fresh, and tasted so delicious – not like what we get here in the los angeles, and for much less money."
