Try 4 equally well-appointment en-suite bedrooms, a fully stocked modern kitchen, and a fabulous outdoor living space overlooking the Parthenon. This is what dream vacations are made of.

SPACIOUS INSIDE AND OUT

This bright and airy penthouse apartment is the perfect place for families or 4 couples traveling together. There are plenty of sleeping options in 4 light-filled bedrooms, contemporary furnishings throughout, and a city-view veranda complete with seating and BBQ grill – you may spend more time out here then inside!

With a fully wheelchair accessible living space across one level, this apartment is convenient for all ages and abilities – exactly what you want in a no-hassle vacation.

PRIVACY AND PAMPERING

Imagine a home where every bedroom is the master suite. All 4 bedrooms in Acropolis Blue have their own en-suite bath, so kids (or couples) don’t have to fight over the best room.

Each bedroom features high-end bedding and colorful art on the walls. Each bathroom boasts massage jets in the showers, organic Greek bath products, and fluffy cotton robes.

With its enviable perch atop the highest point on this downtown street, you’ll have peace and quiet, while being close to the action. In addition to your veranda, you'll have access to the rooftop terrace. With only a few offices sharing the building, the terrace – and its unobstructed views of the Acropolis – are all yours.

4 BEDROOMS / 4 BATHROOMS

The first bedroom has a Queen bed and one twin, and an American-style jetted tub and hydromassage shower combo. The second bedroom has a Queen, twin and walk-in hydro-massage shower.

The third bedroom is fully wheelchair accessible, with a Queen bed plus a single convertible rollaway. This master bathroom has a  double roll-in/walk-in massage shower (built to US ADA standards). Universal accessibility doesn’t have to mean skimping on the luxury.

The fourth bedroom (which can also be used as an office) features a double bed and walk-in massage shower. For added sleeping space, there’s a Queen-sized sofabed in the living room.

LIVELY LOCAL LIVING

If you can tear yourself away from your urban sanctuary, you’ll be rewarded with an authentic Athens neighborhood where locals live, eat, drink, and shop.

Join them in the 4 “plateias” (squares) down below for coffee and people-watching, then follow them to the two local farmers’ markets and learn try your hand at traditional Greek cooking.

Or simply leave it to the experts at one of the many restaurants and cafes on your doorstep. Stroll the tree-lined boulevard and share an ouzo with real Athenians while learning the fine art of relaxation.

AMERICAN CONVENIENCE

Outside it’s authentic Athens; inside it’s the comforts of home – taken up a notch.

Expect the sleep of your life on our imported Sealy Posturepedic mattresses and super-soft, high thread-count linens.
In the kitchen, choose from a fully stocked array of kitchenware and appliances to make cooking a pleasure. And don’t worry about clean-up; there's a full-sized dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer (rare in central Athens).

For further convenience, ask us about our expert concierge service, private chef, or daily maid options. Why not book a wine-tasting while basking in the view of the Parthenon on the roof terrace?

You’re a short walk or tram ride from the city’s historic center, museums and bustling city squares. With a stay at Acropolis Blue, you'll feel like a real local with the best views in town.

Feeling Like a Local: Perfect Peaceful Place to Stay in Athens

Date of Stay:

This apartment was the perfect place to stay with my husband this year in Athens. We came from San Francisco and felt right at home here; the local restaurants are delicious (both sweet and savory), the local co-working [maker] space is just down the road, and the Mikel Café is conveniently located downstairs, beneath the apartment. My favorite part about the apartment itself is that it met all of our technology needs (as San Franciscans), and the place is perfect for any season! Also, any time I needed advice or recommendations from the host, for anything inside or outside the apartment, her attentiveness was on point (thank you for being so resourceful, Nadia). Needless to say we will be back again, and we hope to bring our friends, too. As a destination wedding planner and traveler, I highly recommend Real Greece!

AMAZING EXPERINCE!!!

Date of Stay:

Acropolis blue was a perfect place for us It was spotless and well stocked,it has everything you need and is in a great area of Athens.close to all we definitely will stay here next time we come to Greece. Carole made the whole experience smooth And flawless .nobody in our party had a bad thing to say they were thanking me for finding it.we used nick for transportation to and from the airport on caroles recommendation,he is aces, also nadia was waiting for us on arrival she showed us the apartment and answered all our questions Thanks again!!!

Beautiful property with view of Acropolis and great location

Date of Stay:

Great hosts who gave us a lot of information about Athens. They helped arrange a wonderful trip to Delphi and suggested other day trip options. The property had plenty of amenities and worked well for a family of 6, including a partially mobility impaired grandmother who loved the accessible shower and the lift. We recommend this property to anyone staying in Athens.

Spacious 4 bedroom apartment

Date of Stay:

We, 3 brothers and their wives, all over aged 55, stayed for 8 days in Oct. The apartment is located in walking distance to major sightseeing places and we enjoyed bakery(open at 5 am), supermarket, restaurants next to the apartment. It's not very close to the metro station but you can use bus and trolley nearby. Carol, the hostess, and Nikos, the driver from/to the airport arranged by Carol, were very helpful and professional.

Five Star Accomodation, Location, and Service

Date of Stay:

From reservation request to final departure, our group of eight was delighted with this rental experience. The location of the apartment provided easy exploration of important Athens sites. A thirty minute walk or a 5 euro cab ride delivers you to the Acropolis, Agora, Plaka, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, Parliament and more. A full service grocer is just across the street with bakeries, confectionaries, restaurants, and a taxi stand only steps away. Do not miss the quick serve Dionysus restaurant next door the apartment where we treated like neighbors and where we enjoyed superb souvlaki, kebabs, chicken and pork. Just across the street is a small shop with great freshly roasted nuts, whole bean coffee, granola, and more. Just a perfect location. The apartment was nicely furnished and immaculate. Each of four bedrooms has a full bath with flexible sleeping accommodations that were perfect for our blend of couples and singles. The fully equipped kitchen included stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot and dishwasher, and a complete set of cookware and serving dishes. The hosts provided a generous basket of local food and wine to help us get quickly settled. A balcony off the main living space adds a comfortable fresh air gathering place and a rooftop patio adds even more with a bonus view of the Acropolis and Parthenon. We were greeted on arrival by the local contact who gave us a tour of the property and brief introduction to the area. She also provided a reassuring local contact number. The bonus for this property was the extraordinary service. The hosts arranged for our transfers from the cruise port at the beginning of our stay and to the airport on our departure. They also provided private tours of Athens and nearby areas, including a private tour of the Acropolis with a licensed guide. Nikki, our driver, and Averkious, our Acropolis guide, were both excellent and we suggest you strongly consider these services which can be tailored to your group needs. Prices for these extra services were very competitive and the added convenience of making and paying for these arrangements through the host was a major plus. Location, Location, Location? No. Location, Accomodation, Service!

An amazing place to stay in Athens!

Date of Stay:

Carole was very helpful in planning our trip. She arranged transportation from the airport and a driver to Cape Sounion. She also contacted a guide to lead us through the Acropolis, Maria. WE LOVED HER! The villa was great - great rooftop view of the Acropolis, plenty of space in bedrooms and shared living area. Everything was clean and in order and lovely. Thanks!!!

Athens in December 2017

Date of Stay:

The driver from the airport coordinated with Nadia so that we could enter the apartment and drop our bags prior to the apartment being ready. Nadia showed us how to operate the washer and dryer, remote control heat, and the electronic shades. She did an excellent job of telling us about local restaurants and gave us a couple estimates on how long it would take to walk from the apartment to various destinations. The welcome basket was well received…..thanks! Our adult age kids played cards late one night and the apartment walls are sound proof enough that we didn’t hear them. We didn’t hear or see any of the tenants that occupy the business offices below the apartment. The elevator was convenient and was always operable. We used the washer and dryer nearly non-stop while we were in the unit and both worked wonderfully. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils for us to use. The 7 of us adults were very comfortable in the 4 bedrooms and had plenty of bathrooms for our own privacy. The apartment is conveniently located near restaurants and many of the Athens attractions. Thanks for pointing out the business cards available to us with the apartment address on them.

Amazing Rooftop Patio

Date of Stay:

Very private building without a lot of people and an amazing balcony to overlook the city. If you want to see the Acropolis go up to the roof and go sit down and relax. Awesome place with plenty of space!

Great Neighborhood Experience

Date of Stay:

The owners of this property were attentive, responsive and amazing. They arranged everything for the eight of us, including transfers to/from the airport, tour guides, and excellent food and shopping recommendations. The welcome basket filled with Greek goodies was a nice surprise, as were the 4 very spacious bedrooms with working air conditioning and laundry. We were close enough to all the attractions to walk or take a short cab ride (5-6 Euros each trip). We truly enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants and bakeries just outside our door. We especially loved the food tour provided by Nadea where we experienced the fish and meat markets, ate fresh sesame bagels, tasted local wine, and devoured cured meats and cheeses. Thank you Carole for making our trip very special!

Review of Acropolis Blue Apartment

Date of Stay:

I can't say enough about this apartment as well as Carole (owner) and all the assistance she provided me before our arrival. We had 10 family members ranging in age from 50 to 81 and some with mobility issues. Carole arranged for us to be met at Piraeus Port by Nikos and Demetrius. Demetrius got us loaded in the van and immediately took us to the Acropolis so that we could tour it in the morning (less hot). Carole had made sure that our entry tickets were purchased in advance. Demetrius was able to drive us close to the entrance (and in front of the hundreds of people that didn't have advance tickets). Carole had also arranged for us to have a private tour guide (Marianne) which helped us in getting entry quickly and showed 2 members of our group where they could take the elevator. Given high season, we would have still been waiting in line if Carole hadn't made these arrangements. It made it possible for all ten of us to enjoy the Acropolis during a very busy time of year. Marianne was an excellent guide both for the Acropolis as well as for the museum. Every member of our group agreed that the half-day with her was one of the highlights of our trip. After our Acropolis tour, Demetrius drove us around Athens pointing out important historical and other interesting buildings and places. He then made sure that we were right on time for the changing of the guards in front of the tomb of the unknown soldier. He had a great sense of humor and everyone enjoyed our time with him. He then left us off at the apartment into the very capable hands of Nadea who oriented us to the apartment and the area. She lived right across the street and we called her on a couple of occasions when we had questions. She noted right away that one of the multiple air conditioning units wasn't functioning properly and she made sure that it got fixed the next day (on a Sunday no less). There was a beautiful welcome basket waiting for us with lots of goodies, the refrigerator was stocked with water bottles. It made for a seamless experience. The apartment was perfect for a group of our size (5 couples). It was well appointed and had everything we needed. We loved the rooftop area (one couple slept there) as well as the patio. Carole had left recommendations for area restaurants. We tried 2 and both were superb. Some of us utilized the metro and bus system, but most found it easier (and cheap) to use taxis. Carole made sure that our experience in Athens was unforgettable!!.

Beautiful property

Date of Stay:

My extended family had an amazing time in this incredible designed apartment. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms and super comfy beds made sleeping easy for the seven of us. The kitchen has everything you could want for cooking or reheating things. The neighborhood is out of the touristy parts of town and allows you to experience more of Athens. The owners did an amazing job of helping us navigate “must do” trips and assisted in all parts of the trip from arranging transportation to and from the airport, booking tour guides and even finding a birthday cake for my nieces sweet sixteen. Don’t hesitate in booking any of their properties...you will not be disappointed.

Great apartment, great location, but most importantly, great host

Date of Stay:

The Acropolis Blue apartment was perfect for our vacation, and Carole made the experience trouble-free and comfortable from beginning to end. We were a little apprehensive landing in a strange town and staying in a private residence, but the comprehensive welcome packet answered most of our questions. Being greeted by our driver, Nick, at the airport made our arrival into downtown Athens both painless and informative, and meeting Nadea at the apartment with a beautiful welcome basket made us feel welcome and at home right away. Views of the Acropolis from our balcony and the roof terrace, especially at sunset were wonderful, and being within walking distance of the monuments and museums was great. Thanks for some wonderful memories!

Good location, comfortable flat, excellent service

Date of Stay:

Excellent customer service from Carole made our stay extremely relaxed. A driver (Christos) to take us to the Temple of Poseidon and get us to the airport on time made our last day particularly stress free. And we were glad of the guide Carole arranged for our Acropolis trip (the wonderful Maria) which made making sense of the place so much more satisfying on a short trip. The accomodation was good for us (4 women friends so no pressure on space)and we enjoyed just chilling out on the balcony for drinks and sometimes dinner. (Good take aways from the Alexandria on the corner.By the way there is a view of the Acropolis form the balcony but we missed it until we put the shade up a bit.

Nice apartment for 7 people

Date of Stay:

We were 2 families with 3 kids aged 11,13 and 16. Everyone had plenty of space to relax and the kitchen and laundry facilities were fully utilized during our 7 day stay. The apartment was a 5€ taxi ride to all the main tourist attractions and easy to get in and out of every day. Since we stayed in February, we didn't get to utilize the outside veranda or the rooftop terrace as it was too cold but both spaces are lovely. The elevator did not work on the weekends and this may be an issue if you have mobility issues as the apartment was on the fifth floor. However, it was not an issue for us. We are not sure it is gets turned off as the rest of the building space is offices and may not be open on the weekend. Nadia was very helpful and allowed us to stay in the apartment a little later than the regular checkout time as our flight was for the early afternoon. Carole arranged Nick to drive us around on 2 separate day trips to Delphi and the Peloponnese area and was very accommodating to our needs.

Excelente....Excellent

Date of Stay:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We traveled to Greece 8 people, long before the trip I had a constant communication with Carole, an amazing person, very kind and who knew how to help us in every detail on our arrival. Fantastic Apartment/Extremely Helpful Owner

Date of Stay:

We had a wonderful stay in Athens. The apartment was spacious and well appointed, and Carol was very helpful. She arranged a wonderful tour of Athens and the Acropolis that perfectly fit our needs as a group with ages ranging from 14 to 80. Antonio was a great driver and Stephanie was a fantastic tour guide. Carol and Nick's planning and help made our stay magical and stress free.

Loved it

Date of Stay:

Clean and uncluttered. Plenty of space. A much-appreciated basket of snacks were awaiting us upon arrival. The kitchen has all the appliances one could want, and plenty of nice dishes, pots and pans, etc. (It doesn't feel as if the owners were trying to outfit the apartment as minimally as possible.) Comfy beds. Lovely terrace. Nice to have the opportunity to do our laundry. Quiet as well, as most of the building houses offices, not apartments. The owners were great about responding to questions and providing us with plenty of info -- and all the guidebooks were a very thoughtful addition. One caveat and a small suggestion. Suggestion: provide a simple translation or "graphic" for the washing machine and dryer. Our "welcoming person" DID explain it, but most of it was forgotten in the midst of arrival and a lot of additional information being offered. The German labelling did not give many hints about all the options on the dial! The caveat is location. The apartment is in a "regular" neighborhood on a central street. So if you are wanting the convenience of being near the tourist-y neighborhoods and sites, this may not be your place. The neighborhood is fine -- perfectly safe -- and has a grocery store across the street (and also shoe stores and a bakery and banks and insurance companies and mysterious other things). But it is a schlep to get to the museums and archeological sites and more interesting areas (about 30 minute walk). Not close to Metro (which, by the way, is a great system). And we did not decipher the bus system, except for one ride. Plenty of taxis, though (but be prepared: while most Greek people seemed to speak/understand plenty of English, and even my minimal bad Greek, the taxi drivers almost universally did not). (Also, the photo o the night-lit Parthenon must have been taken through a telescope.) LOVED the rooftop terrace! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Large apartment in good area

Date of Stay:

We spent 5 nights at this unit in June. The 6 of us had plenty of room. The area right outside the unit looked a little unattractive although it is supposed to be in a safe & attractive part of Athens. Maybe after some construction gets done it will look better but didn't interfere with our use of the apartment. Carole had a large info package (50+ pages) to help navigate the apartment & area. What we really appreciated is Carole's willingness to arrange transportation to/from the apartment & other leisure tours etc if wanted. We had her arrange a 'Foodie Tour' for us with the apartment manager, Nadia, conducting the tour. We all had a great time!

Unforgettable vacation at Athens!

Date of Stay:

Stayed in the apartment with 4beds/4 baths, which made our mornings very convenient. Kids could hang out and play in the afternoons while all the adults rested. Enough of space for all the 10 of us without feeling claustrophobic. Carole helped us plan our vacation from the very beginning. Stress free vacations are the best! Thanks Carol, Nadia, Nick and the rest of the Greek vacation rentals team! Stayed during the last week of July 2017 — at Greek Vacation Rentals.

Amazing!

Date of Stay:

We had an amazing time in this oasis in Athens! The apartment is incredibly well stocked, impeccably clean, and conveniently located! We were in Athens during a heat wave so the ability to tour the sites in the morning and then come home for a rest before heading out for the evening was perfect. Carole's recommendations on places to eat were outstanding. One of our favourite meals of our three week European holiday. I hope you get a chance to stay here!

Date of Stay:

Our stay in this beautiful spacious apartment was wonderful. It was all that it was reported to be. We loved the neighborhood and the convenience of it all. Highly recommend it as a perfect place to stay in Athens.

Nice to come home to . Our family of 11 loved the condo and the rooftop dining.

Date of Stay:

We were a family group of 11, including 4 children, and found the condo comfortable and functional. The terrace was well used. Nadia met us as we arrived and was very friendly and helpful with our arrangements. We were close to shops for food for breakfast and restaurants for dinner. Our Greek dancing lesson was lots of fun and challenging. Our half day tour, which you arranged, of the Acropolis and the Agora was great. The welcome notes that you sent us were very informative. We found our way by walking, taking the bus, the subway and the taxis. We all loved the markets at the Plaka and Monastiraki. Thank you so much, Pat

Great space! We loved it. Roof top deck was amazing!

Date of Stay:

Great beds, great showers, nice linens, we used the outdoor grill and cooked dinner and had all our friends on the roof top deck for a lifehighlight kind of experience......

Great apartment in athens

Date of Stay:

Ideal for families and larger groups. walk to popular sites. Shopping very convenient nearby, restaurants, taxi stand, ATMs etc.local representative very friendly and accommodating. we did have issues with the elevator but maintenance came in reasonable time. Was very clean and comfortable. great roof top views of the acropolis.

Beautiful apartment with modern touches

Date of Stay:

The apartment is in walking distance to many of the main sites and is quiet and secure. It is beautifully decorated and easily housed 7 of us. Both Carole and Nadia were very helpful and flexible with us (icy roads delayed our arrival to Athens.) I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Athens.

5 Stars

Date of Stay:

We were 8 people staying in the apartment for Athens Marathon and everything went smoothly. 4 bedrooms each having their own bathroom was great for us, and the rooftop was a fun extra to see the city around. All amenities in the flat were great, we could cook breakfast etc.. can truly recommend this place.

Beautiful apartment and a perfect vacation!

Date of Stay:

This apartment was beautiful, updated, spacious and perfect for our vacation. It was very comfortable, my room had a Murphy bed and it was so comfy I looked forward to going to bed at night! No hard, thin mattresses in the whole place. The veranda was so nice to spend time on with my family with a table and chairs and 2 couches. We cooked breakfast everyday, which was easy to do because the kitchen was well-stocked with all the dishes, utensils, pans, and spices. We just had to add food! This apartment was near a good supermarket, several great bakeries, great restaurants, we really didn't lack for anything we needed. And its central to all the great Athens landmarks and good public transport. We also did a couple of day trips with a driver that Carole helped set up for us, and all I can say is it was some of the best money we spent on vacation. We toured Athens and Corinth, our driver, Nikos was OUTSTANDING. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He also transported us to the airport, which made the entire trip simple. I definitely had many questions for Carole as we setup this reservation, and she was very helpful and quick to respond and immediately took care of any issues that came up. She's awesome, hands-down one of the best experiences I've had in booking an apartment in Europe, which I've done many times as its my preferred way to travel. I will stay in one of Carole's properties again when I visit Athens, and I will definitely use Nikos our driver again on future trips.

HOME away from home

Date of Stay:

I booked Acropolis Blue for a group of 6 people (3 couples). Initially, the group felt that the apartment was expensive compared with hotel rooms they suggested (especially after the credit card and exchange rate premium added). I wanted something much better than small hotel rooms. Their opinion changed when they stepped into the apartment. The first comment was it definitely is worth the money we paid and they just loved it. It essentially is a HOME with 3 en-suite bedrooms. (In fact, there is a fourth one that we did not use.) We enjoyed the usage of the large balcony for relaxation and breakfast. The roof top had a view of the Acropolis and we enjoyed sunset there too. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and maintained. Just like HOME away from home. Good location with lots of good restaurants nearby. Nadia gave us good advice. Oh, we had breakfast in the recommended little bakery three times during our stay. We had alll our dinners around the apartment area during our stay except the day we had a day trip out to Cape Sounion for sunset. I like to sum up our dining experience as good food, cheap, and FUN. Friendly and helpful service. Carole responded to all requests and questions I had during the booking process. Nadia who welcomed us at the apartment and Nick who took us out for two day trips were just great. Overall, we enjoyed staying in Acropolis Blue and the excellent services provided.

Perfect! Apartment was everything we needed and more!

Date of Stay:

We were fortunate enough to enjoy this apartment with family in April '15 The apartment was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Every detail was set with great care. The beds were comfortable - even more than we had hoped, and linens were plentiful and fresh and the bathrooms were modern and lovely. Since it was the second week of a 2 week vacation, the washer and dryer were very welcome! Having an elevator was most welcome after a long day of traveling. Although I try not to cook on vacation, it was great to be able to enjoy our breakfast each morning in the fully stocked kitchen. Lots of info in the apt regarding local restaurants, a map, DVD's to be enjoyed in the evening. Luckily our beautiful weather allowed us the opportunity to enjoy the lovely terrace. The location was perfect with a grocery, several (maybe too many) bakeries, restaurants and shops. Owner, Carole, arranged our driver for us and it was the best suggestion and best money spent on this whole vacation. Nicos was friendly, punctual and above all knowledgeable! We learned more about his wonderful city than we ever could have managed on our own. He kept us laughing all the while filling us with fantastic information. His restaurant suggestions were right on the money. Our last excursion with him was to the Temple of Poseidon at sunset and it was the perfect ending to our magical trip! Thank you to Carole for all your wonderful help in making our trip so wonderful.

Perfect! Exactly the way it was depicted in the photos

Date of Stay:

We loved our stay in Athens in Carole and Basil's 4 bedroom/4 bath condo. There were 4 over 50++ something women who travelled and everything was perfect. There was a nice basket with a bottle of wine, all kinds of goodies and Ouzo chilling in the fridge when we arrived. The location was great with the best Greek restaurant literally right next door (souvlaki to die for) Great bakery on the corner ~ best chocolate I've had. The grocery and liquor store was across the street. What more could we want?! The beds were all very comfortable each with their own a/c. It was so nice to have a living room and kitchen to gather while we were in the condo. We were so happy we each had our own bathroom in our bedrooms and the washer and dryer came in handy so we could have clean clothes prior to starting our cruise. Nick, the driver, was not only handsome but prompt, courteous, professional and a veritable walking encyclopedia of Greece. We loved having our private driver to take us to the Temple of Poseidon and Delphi ++ a very comfortable ride to and from the airport. I would definitely recommend this condo. It was safe, quiet most of the time (sometimes at night the bands played until wee hours of the morning), close to everything we needed and taxis were plentiful, if needed. Carole has been so kind and very patient with my million questions and last minute changes.

Clean, convenient and comfortable

Date of Stay:

The apartment was accurately described in HomeAway. Carole, the owner, e-mailed us a very detailed document on all aspects of the apartment, sites to see, things to do, local restaurants and cafes and other things to help us quickly get oriented with the place and Athens. The apartment was immaculate, and the local caretaker, Nadia, was readily accessible and helpful. There was a nice rooftop deck with a 360 degree view of the city, including the Acropolis. The major sites were within walking distance or a short taxi ride away. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others..

Perfect Apartment in Athens

Date of Stay:

From start to finish our experience with Carol Kezios and her team was flawless. The condo was beautifully modern and very accessible for my husband who is in a wheelchair. We had peace and quiet and yet were in the middle of everything. We there for nine nights and had a real opportunity to go to historical sights at our own pace. We also enjoyed farmers' markets and local coffee shops, etc. The condo was simply lovely and had everything one could possibly ask for. Thank you, Carol, for making our second trip to Athens a beautiful experience which we will never forget. We would love to come and stay with you in the future.

Athens Adventure

Five of us, friends from Australia, enjoyed a wonderful return visit to Athens, due in part to the very comfortable accommodation we found there. The advice and help provided by the owners was invaluable and made our stay so much easier from the very beginning. We all loved the apartment!

Love My Vacation Part 2

Date of Stay:

We received a day walking tour with guide which added so much to our understanding of what we were seeing and the history Athens provides us! WE LOVE POPI! My daughters talked Greek Mythology, history, barbies, travel, and walked away with a wonderful new friend. Carole was able to put together a wonderful day of Greek cooking in the Apartment with a wonderful pastry chef published in one of Greece's cooking magazines. We shopped in the local farmers market for veggies, bakery for bread, wine shop to top off our dinner, and the store across the street for some of Athens best cheeses. After all our shopping was done we began making the best meal I have ever tasted. Evi, our chef, was able to include our girls and my parents in the whole process. It was nice using the apartment for the class as the girls were able to participate or not at their own pace. My parents were able to relax and enjoyed the show. And finally we enjoyed a glass of wine together with our chef and then ate a magnificent meal we had learned to prepare. Nick our driver also recommended by our hosts, took us on two day trips and was our airport connection. I cannot say enough about how he made sure our family was comfortable and even helped my parents with a little restaurant get away while we played on the beach. When we returned to Ukraine my parents and kids could not stop talking about how wonderful vacation they had! I was a hero, and it was all due to my secret weapon Carole. While in Athens we spoke about her everyday and she was our 7th traveler. Even on the day we were cooking we were sitting at the computer exchanging emails and it felt as if she were cyber cooking with us. It was so much fun, relaxing, and all around the BEST vacation we as a family have taken because the stress of planning and knowing what to do wasn't there. Even our last minute 3 Island tour was a breeze because I didn't have to take care of any of the details. You would be crazy not to stay here and be well cared for by Carole and her friends.
